Propaganda and Seletti surprise once again with BAD GUY LAMP

-
Giulia Guido

The hoodie is much more than a piece of clothing. It can be a shield against the outside world, a form of protection we put up when we want to retreat into ourselves and hide, or when we don’t want our ideas to slip away. For these reasons, it could only be the perfect point of connection for the second collaboration between Propaganda and Seletti.

After Brain Wash, the skull-shaped soap dish that kicked off the collaboration, Propaganda and Seletti have once again joined forces: on one side, the Italian benchmark for counterculture; on the other, the company that revolutionized the very concept of design.

The result? BAD GUY LAMP.

reel

BAD GUY LAMP is a must-have for anyone with a background tied to graffiti art and the creative world, for streetwear lovers who won’t give up comfort, but also for anyone looking for an object capable of completely transforming the look of a home or work environment.

The idea behind it was to use the shape of a classic Propaganda hoodie to turn it into a lamp—an idea conceived by Uto Balmoral, who also signs the project.

In short, this is a collaboration between pop and underground, but also between art and design. The goal—fully achieved—of this second drop was to surprise, provoke, make people smile, and at the same time invite reflection. After all, anyone can be hiding under a hood, and behind the one by Propaganda and Seletti, you’ll find the light.
