UPDATE 28 MAY

Radiohead have given us another gift. This time the historic band decided to go back in time, to “the depths of the archives“, as they wrote on Instagram. This week’s concert, in fact, is that of 27 May 1994 at London’s Astoria.

The concert has already been published on VHS (in 1995) and DVD (in 2005), and from 11pm tonight, Thursday 28 May, it will also be on YouTube.

UPDATE MAY 7TH

After the Tent concert in Dublin, Radiohead will release a new live show. With the intention of making our stay at home lighter, today at exactly 23 pm the live at the Bonnaroo Music Festival 2006 will be published.

Jonny Greenwood, the historic guitarist, in a post on instagram said: This week something new, we’ve tracked down the original desk audio for our Bonnaroo show. Filmed in 2006 in Tennessee it’s easily, comfortably, the best festival experience I’ve ever had in America. I hope the heat, dust, and smell of fine Southern whiskey comes over as well as the songs – and I hope that we get back to live music soon.

No, Radiohead hasn’t released a new album. But to keep us company during this quarantine period the British alternative rock band from Oxfordshire formed in 1985 decided to put online a series of concerts.

It starts today with the live show in Tent in Dublin. The live, directed by Dilly Gent, dates back to October 2000 and is the first of a series of contents that, on a weekly basis, Thom Yorke and co. will propose to the users of the platform to “make the quarantine more manageable”.

An unmissable appointment for Radiohead fans, one concert a week to relive the myth and emotions that the English band has given us over time.
