The self-taught artist, based in Lyon, Rozenn Le Gall deconstructs the typical images of the fashion magazines of the ’60s and ’70s to transform them into minimalist and suggestive collages.
A fundamental element of each of her artworks is the figure of the woman to whom, although adding elements of the most disparate worlds, does not want to give a specific role.
Each image has a double meaning that reflects the sensitivity and vision of those who watch it.

“Viewers know the image is truncated, they know it’s artificial, but by reading into it, they will give it a subjective reality. Their own reality”
