Salomon and Mental Athletic – the media platform founded by Gabriele Casaccia and dedicated to running culture in all its forms – join forces to redefine trail running as an experience that goes beyond sport, transforming it into a cultural and narrative act. The capsule collection Edges of Motion is born from the encounter between the French brand’s technical expertise and the collective’s visionary approach, capable of weaving together performance and contemporary languages.

At the center is the ULTRA GLIDE 3, a shoe that combines lightness, traction, and comfort, accompanied by pieces such as the TANK U top, the ADV SKIN 12 backpack, and shorts designed to support endurance without sacrificing style. Completing the trail outfit are accessories such as socks, hats, sleeves, and gloves that highlight the link between functionality and minimalist aesthetics, bringing the concept of trail running into a realm that also speaks of identity and personal expression.

The campaign, directed by Riccardo Raspa and filmed in Cameroon during the Race of Hope and on Mount Cameroon, is a visual manifesto that blends documentary and poetry. Far from being a simple sports reportage, it tells the story of local communities, volcanic landscapes, and the sense of belonging that arises from running, portraying trail running as a dialogue between resilience, nature, and human will.
