Short video for Breakfast – Scrambled, digital or analog? Rubik’s cube or smartphone?

Nowadays most games are digital, whether it’s Sony, Nintendo or downloadable to your computer or phone the old simple analog games have gone out of fashion, they have been forgotten. In Scrambled, the animated short film made by Polder Animation creatives, we follow the story of a small Rubik’s cube that, in a station, looks for someone to solve it. Maybe he will find this person in Esra, a girl who has just missed her train and who, to kill time, starts playing with the phone.

Can our multicolored protagonist convince the girl to play with her?

The simple story, drawn with an impeccable technique, obviously hides some long-debated themes. First of all, there is the incessant comparison between digital and analog. I believe that fighting the digital world is like clashing against progress, but, at the same time, no object and the technological game will ever have that timeless charm of the old games with which we had fun as children.
