BlacKkKlansman, the new directed by Spike Lee, that was presented at Cannes Festival, is a strong film that deals with strong themes, but with a veil of irony.
The plot deals with a young black coop that, during the 70’s, is send at Colorado Springs, in order to investigate the Ku Klux Klan. The plot is quite simple, but the director wants to make people think about the U.S. president and about the racism alarm that is spreading in the western part of the world. Spike Lee in fact, before the film was projecting during Cannes, make a speech in which he described his point of view on the American situation, not sparing hate words.
In BlacKkKlansman we see a cast formed by Adam Driver, John Washington and Topher Grace. We don’t know when the movies will come out here in Italy but we already know that it will come out in the United States during this summer, the 10th of August.
