SUNNEI x Albiate 1830 capsule collection

It’s a story that goes back a long way to Albiate 1830, the year in which Giuseppe Caprotti founded the Manifattura di Albiate, a company distributing yarn for country weavers. In 2000 the company became part of the Albini Group, a historic protagonist of the sector, and over the years the manufacturing soul of the company has been consolidated until today and the latest project that sees Albiate 1830 collaborate with SUNNEI, one of the most innovative brands on the world scene and which has established itself for its aesthetics linked to the knowledge and background of its founders.

These two Italian companies have just released a wonderful capsule collection presented during the Spring/Summer 2020 fashion show of the brand founded by Simone Rizzo and Loris Messina in 2014. The collection is composed of the highest quality garments for both men and women, dominating the off-white color with contrasting stitching that characterizes all the items of the capsule. The creative spark that started this collaboration came from a reflection on the traditional white shirt and its reinterpretation in an increasingly contemporary key that SUNNEI and Albiate 1830 have declined with this collection that fully represents the know-how of both companies.

Sealing this union is the video shot by photographer and video-maker Michele Foti, who has followed the entire development of the production chain from the province of Bergamo to Vicenza – where SUNNEI produces its garments – underlining how attention, meticulousness, and quality are an increasingly central point of Italian fashion in all sectors.

The SUNNEI x Albiate 1830 SS20 capsule collection is now available online on the SUNNEI website.
