The famous car manufacturer Aston Martin, in collaboration with the S3 Architecture studio, has built its first residence.
Just 90 minutes from Manhattan, in Rhinebeck, New York, there will be the private residential complex called Sylvan Rock.
The project consists of a series of futuristic and luxurious structures hidden in a 55 acre wooded plot in the Hudson Valley.
The chosen location is not accidental, it will allow residents to “reconnect with nature”.
This is the first property to be fully constructed under the guide of Aston Martin’s Automotive Galleries and Lairs service for automotive customers who want to showcase their cars.
“Our architecture and design team was immediately in tune with the Aston Martin design team, emphasizing both the clean lines and the luxury of natural materials and textures,” said one of the firm’s architects, Doug Maxwell.
The design and shape of the chosen residence also fully represent the luxurious, minimalist, clean, monochrome car maker.
The design blends seamlessly with the surrounding landscape to create a unique luxury experience.
The complex includes several guest houses around a central building with restaurant, relaxation room, swimming pool, office and several rooms.
The garage dug into the ground looks like an underground lair that also serves as a car exhibition gallery.
The interiors of the residential complex are all made by Aston Martin: wood, leather and metals. Designed with innovative materials, including solid wood beams, cross-laminated roof panels and energy-efficient glass.
To see it live, however, we would have to wait a little longer, Sylvan Rock is still in the design phase but will be ready in 2021.
