Telfar is one of the major brands that has built its success through the viral diffusion of the bags designed by its founder Telfar Clemens. If we talk about virality, before cell phones the only tool through which it was possible to do it was the television and the brand must have thought about this when in recent days it presented its latest project: Telfar TV.
The launch was announced during New York Fashion Week, with the aim of promoting products such as the Telfar’s iconic bag Bushwick Birkin. Telfar TV, available as a download on Apple TV and Roku, will allow access to the brand’s products through QR codes, which will allow free online shopping, without fast lanes or limited edition items.
The TV will also offer access to live events such as fashion shows, but also special projects that will gradually be conveyed through this new channel.

Telfar Tv is a gift to the vast, genderfluid and creative community that will be able to secure one of the brand’s bags and other items, including the new duffel bag, which was unveiled during the NYFW conference.
“It’s really important to make sure that the bags have the people who want them. I don’t own the idea of selling something exclusive that people have to wake up at 9 a.m. to buy,” Clemens told WWD. Truly fashion for everyone on TV, fighting bots and wild releases.
