June is the month of festivals and outdoor events. At this time of year, planning a capsule wardrobe is always a challenge, but the editorial team at Collater.al has tackled this by selecting all the must-attend events for this festival season. The Checklist has everything: from outfits to fragrances, including collections or capsules we’ve already discussed or new things to discover together. This is for both our female and male audiences.

Imagining the ideal capsule wardrobe for this summer’s festivals – whether it’s Terraforma EXO, Nameless, or La Prima Estate – we started with a particular t-shirt, the one from the Carhartt WIP collaboration with Tresor, which we’ve already discussed for techno lovers and Berlin (but also Detroit) vibes. It’s the Techno Alliance Unisex T-Shirt, part of a partnership that also includes a vinyl compilation. But we’ve also identified other graphic t-shirts, including the ALL YOU WANT IS… — WASHED PINK crop top t-shirt by Carne Bollente, which – along with the crewneck ICH BIN EIN BERLINER – is one of our favorite items from the Parisian brand.

For bottoms, we started with Gramicci – one of our favorite gorpcore brands – and we went wild with the Crazy G-Shorts for men and the Softshell Nylon Skirt for women (with its two versatile side pockets, perfect for festival season). But that’s not all, we were also intrigued by Service Works‘ pants, especially the Classic Chef Pants in Khaki – our favorite color for bottoms, as you might have noticed.

For sunglasses, we opted for the JUNE from Junk Plastic Rehab; a brand we’ve discussed a few months ago that caught our attention right away. We chose a simple black model, but there are plenty of options in terms of colors and shapes to choose from. Moving on to shoes, we couldn’t help but think of a light, versatile, and cool shoe like the RX Marie-Jeanne from Salomon (you remember the piece on ballet sneakers, right?). For good measure, we didn’t forget the windbreaker – for those planning to attend more hardcore festivals – and the first one that came to mind was the Transverse 2L Dryvent from The North Face, which we had talked about here.

We also talked about the AVAVAV x Eastpak collaboration, which multiplied and transformed the brand’s pouches, backpacks, and duffel bags, known for their functionality. Finally, we also considered a fragrance, in this case, a unisex one from a brand we’ve been keeping an eye on for a while: Rhizome. The fragrance is Tropical Dance and the top notes are Bourbon Vanilla, Tonka Bean, and Caramelized Orange with a heart of Patchouli, Cedar, and Cashmere Wood, while the base notes are Amber, Musk, and Precious Wood.

In short, The Checklist has thought of everything, ticking off many of the items we’d want to have with us before a festival – from the most demanding to those we might call metropolitan, like this year’s Terraforma EXO.
