Il capsule wardrobe di chi trasforma il tuo San Valentino in un problema
-
Anna Frattini

For this Valentine’s Day, we put together a different kind of wishlist—one that stands out in a sea of gift guides for soulmates. Instead, we imagined what someone who turns Valentine’s Day into a problem would wear, drawing inspiration from the most famous bad boys in pop culture. From Johnny Depp to Timothée Chalamet in Bones and All, we curated the ultimate bad boy capsule wardrobe.

First and foremost, a jacket. Specifically, this black, ultra-classic one from Sacai, inspired by Johnny Depp’s iconic red carpet (and off-duty) looks. The second must-have in the bad boy aesthetic is undoubtedly a pair of sunglasses—like Arnette’s Catfish (the name says it all), in sleek black, of course. Next, an orange C.P. Company Crossbody Pack, perfect for the gorpcore-leaning bad boy. For this, we took inspiration from a vintage street look of Brad Pitt, which features the same bold color palette as the bag.

Denim also plays a key role in our idea of the bad boy aesthetic. To tie it into the Valentine’s theme, we chose the Love Pants 00’s by Carne Bollente, boasting a uniquely bold design. Alternatively, there’s also the Heart Euphoria, which leans into heart-shaped motifs. We paired these with a faded Carhartt t-shirt in an ambiguous shade of purple, taking cues from Leonardo DiCaprio’s bad boy era.

To round out the capsule wardrobe, we added a slightly tie-dye BAPE hoodie, reminiscent of Eminem’s oversized fits in 8 Mile. Then, Corteiz boxers and Timberland boots complete the look—ensuring maximum bad boy energy.

Finally, a fragrance. For this, we took inspiration from a more Gen Z bad boy—the kind who appreciates niche perfumery, like Lee from Bones and All, played by Timothée Chalamet. Imagining him, we chose Drunk Lovers by BORNTOSTANDOUT, a scent with woody and aromatic notes—perfect for making anyone fall in love.
