Tim Teven is a Dutch designer with a material-driven, experimental approach to design. A graduate of the Design Academy Eindhoven in 2018, he founded his studio in the same city, where he creates objects that merge industrial craftsmanship with a rigorous, minimalist aesthetic.
At the core of his work is the desire to treat materials in unconventional ways, redefining production processes to achieve functional and unexpected solutions. A striking example of his vision is the semi-transparent red Bar Trolley, a piece that plays with the contrast between pressed steel tubes and sheet metal shelves, also incorporating a serving tray.
