In 1985, The North Face introduced the Mountain Jacket, designed to protect climbers and skiers in the most extreme conditions. Now, 40 years after its debut, it returns with a new version for 2025, blending innovation and heritage. From GORE-TEX® to FUTURELIGHT™ and now DRYVENT™ Mono, the jacket has evolved while staying true to its DNA. Originally created for high altitudes, it has become a style icon through collaborations with Supreme, MM6 Maison Margiela, and KAWS.

To celebrate the anniversary, The North Face is launching a campaign featuring British singer-songwriter Griff, a BRIT Award winner. Her 2024 album Vertigo cemented her talent and aesthetic, making her the perfect choice to embody the creative spirit of the Mountain Jacket. «Just like in music, I express myself through fashion. Being part of this campaign has been incredible,» the singer shared. And really, who hasn’t been playing last night’s mascara on repeat?

Griff is joined by The North Face athletes—snowboarder Blake Paul and freeride skier Dennis Ranalter—in a narrative that blends performance and style. The 2025 collection is inspired by the Alps, snow, and the unpredictability of urban weather, offering pieces that combine protection, aesthetics, and innovation. In short, everything we expect from The North Face.
