“Life in Lockdown”, the short film by Aardman and Born Free Foundation

Aardman, the world-famous animation studio has collaborated with the animal welfare charity foundation, Born Free Foundation, for a new short film. Titled “Life in Lockdown”, the new film highlights the plight of wild animals in captivity through reflections on Covid-19’s global isolation.

Based on real-life interviews of people’s experiences in isolation, the two-minute short film from the Aardman study reveals how wild animals are forced to live in captivity for life, not just as a temporary restriction.

“Life in Lockdown” was created in collaboration with the creative agency Engine, the short highlights the similarities between the experiences of people in isolation and the boundaries wild animals experience on a daily basis.
