In addition to the partnership with Slam Jam, to mark Umbro’s centenary, the renowned British sports brand has teamed up (again) with Aries for the third edition of their acclaimed collaboration. This collection draws inspiration from Umbro’s rich archives, strongly characterized by its football component and historic relationship with English football. It’s noteworthy that this capsule collection will be launched just in time for the start of the 2024 European Championships. The Aries x Umbro capsule collection includes eight exclusive athleisure pieces in red, white, and blue. Among these are two classic short-sleeve football shirts, a long-sleeve goalkeeper shirt, football shorts, accessories, and a limited-edition navy blue lace football shirt, produced in only 100 pieces.
The football shirts feature the Aries A-Rose motif, which appears as a printed background in homage to the famous English Rose. Available in red and white, the shirts have the Aries Temple logo on the left side of the chest and Umbro’s Double Diamond logo on the right side. The goalkeeper shirt is enriched with a tonal black print of mythical lions, a nod to English history and the mythological themes typical of Aries, with the Latin motto “If you kill it, it will come back stronger” hidden in the print. On the back of all the shirts, the number 100 is printed, created by combining the distinctive font of the Aries x Umbro collaborations and the aforementioned Umbro double diamond logo, thus celebrating the three elements of this collaboration: Aries, Umbro, and 100 years of history.
