UNIQLO and MARNI play with purity and chaos

Andrea Tuzio

For this winter 2022 UNIQLO and MARNI continue to explore the conflict between purity and chaos in a playful and lively way.

After last Spring/Summer’s collaboration, the Japanese fashion giant and the Italian fashion house founded by Consuelo Castiglioni in 1994 and led by Francesco Risso, have announced a new collaboration that blends two seemingly distant worlds: that of UNIQLO made of minimalism and neutral colors and that of MARNI, joyful, colorful, full of bright prints and graphics.

In this latest collection, UNIQLO’s essentials have been reimagined in a playful way, echoing that psychedelic aesthetic typical of the 1960s by encouraging a mix-and-match style.
