Tomorrow, December 5, 2024, Vans and S.R. STUDIO. LA. CA. reunite for a second collaborative collection under the OTW by Vans line, solidifying a shared journey that merges art, fashion, and experimentation. This new release draws inspiration from their first collaboration in February 2024 but pushes the boundaries into even bolder territory.

Sterling Ruby, the multidisciplinary artist from Los Angeles, channels his creative practice to reimagine the iconic motifs of the previous collection. Neon hues give way to deep green and gold, while the graphics celebrate the aesthetic of decaying pumpkins and monstrous claws. As Ruby explains: «For years, I’ve been photographing my family’s Jack O’Lanterns after Halloween. Over time, they transform into fascinating abstractions—raw and unfiltered».

The collection features four footwear models—the Old Skool 36, Sk8-Hi 38, and Slip-On 98—enhanced with Vibram OTW soles and premium materials such as goat leather and glossy midsoles. The designs range from solid colorways to patterns showcasing orange and green claw graphics. For the first time, the Vans and S.R. STUDIO. LA. CA. collaboration also includes apparel: a t-shirt, a long-sleeve shirt, and a hoodie. Accompanying the collection is a photographic campaign by Nayquan Shuler, featuring the punk rock band Mannequin Pussy performing tracks from their latest album, I Got Heaven.

The collection will be available starting December 5, 2024, at select OTW by Vans retailers and online at vans.eu/otw_by_vans.
