Born in a small village near the city of Limburg, Germany, Vin Clovercreek grew up in a family steeped in creativity. His grandfather was passionate about painting, and his father was a wood artist, skilled at creating extraordinary forms with a chainsaw. As a child, Vin often drew with his father, sitting on the floor surrounded by scattered sheets of paper. Growing up, he found new ways to create and explore the visual world. His passion for 3D modeling and animation blossomed during high school, inspired by video games and a desire to understand how shapes, light, and perspective could transform an idea into something real.

What he learned over the years, including during an apprenticeship with automotive photographer Michel de Vries, is reflected today in his style and illustrations, especially in the “2055” series.
