50 perfectly sums up OFLB’s new musical direction, a fusion of RnB, neo-soul, songwriting, gospel references and 80s reminiscences.
A song that marks a turning point for the artist, who between soul elegance and RnB beats anticipates an EP to be released next year, intended for musical export.

OFLB was in fact chosen by Italia Music Export of SIAE among the 20 Italian projects worthy of support for export abroad.

Not surprisingly, “50” is the 50th song written by OLD FASHIONED LOVER BOY, it’s one of the EP’s musical manifestos: a relaxed mood runs through the track’s electronic veins.
Written on the spot in a difficult historical moment for those who want to be artists, OFLB tells us about a memory, a feeling about what it felt like to make music at the beginning, as kids, in the basement or at a friend’s house, with the only goal of playing music. A simple nostalgic reflection on how making music at 20 years old was a much simpler matter.

The solid and constantly evolving musical path, with a contemporary and international attitude, has allowed OFLB to play over the years in Japan, Poland, Switzerland, Sweden and the UK, and to open concerts of artists such as Andy Shauf, Scott Matthew, Hurts, Micah P, Hinson, Paolo Nutini.

It’s a playlist made on the spur of the moment, on a Sunday morning, when it’s raining outside and there is little light in the house.
