Vinnie Neuberg’s bold illustrations

Giulia Guido

For Vinnie Neuberg the watchwords are two: thick lines and bright colors.

Vinnie is a freelance illustrator who lives and works in Brooklyn and with his unique and pop style has managed to charm his followers on Instagram, and readers of some of the most popular magazines. His clients include the New York Times, Tumblr, VICE.com, Anorak Magazine, The Huffington Post, The Portland Mercury, Milwaukee Magazine, Narratively and many others.

Of his illustrations, the aspect that remains most impressed in the mind is the contrast between the thick black lines that define the objects and the figures and the brilliant shades that color them.

This style, complemented by square shapes and bold strokes, fits perfectly with the subjects that Vinnie Neuberg chooses to draw, taking inspiration from everything around him, from politics to news, from food to the world of sports.
