The figurative and psychedelic art by Vito Manolo Roma on show in Milan

The bold and surreal art of Vito Manolo Roma lands in Milan on the occasion of the opening of the new Malaka Studio space.

Tomorrow, Thursday 30 September, the guys from Malaka will open the doors of the studio in via Valtorta 5 (Milan), which until 23 December will host “Move Up!”, the solo exhibition by Vito Manolo Roma, also known as Tovi.

The Istanbul-based artist, born in 1982, is ready to present his latest series of works to the public: the exhibition will feature a triptych of silkscreen prints, original drawings and works ranging from printing to painting.
All these artistic forms are not at all unfamiliar to Vito, who since graduating from Milan Polytechnic has worked as an art director, become a freelance illustrator and during his career has investigated illustration, poster design, printing, painting and photography.

Vito Manolo Roma will be present at the opening, during which Ugo Piazza of Soul Finger – a collective that collects records of Afro-American and Jamaican music from the 50s, 60s and 70s of which Vito himself is a member – will delight the public with a special musical selection. Don’t miss it!
