We live our lives with strangers every day. They take us home drunk, deliver our ramen at 2 a.m and much more. We are more connected than ever. But how many times are we really in touch?

This is the beginning of the visual project We’re Not Really Strangers, based on simple and effective images, which arise from deep reflections on the social dynamics that characterize our lives. On the sitelinked to this Instagram profile, which has more than 288,000 followers, we find the following quotation:

“Love is but the discovery of ourselves in others and the delight in the recognition”.

These are motivational messages, sometimes ironic, in which all the “strangers” who come across these maxims can identify. The main theme, however, remains love and everything that implies loving someone, including ourselves.

We’re Not Really Strangers is much more than an Instagram profile, it’s your best friend who reminds you to love and love you more, it’s your inner voice that outlines hidden truths and…it’s also a card game!
