To coincide with the release of the first part of the fourth season of Stranger Things, the paranormal, sci-fi series set in the 1980s broadcast by Netflix and created by the Duffer Brothers, Marc Jacobs unveiled its latest campaign whose face is that of one of the series’ most prominent characters, Winona Ryder.

A longtime friend of the brand and already starring in the Spring/Summer 2003 campaign shot by Juergen Teller, Winona Ryder-who plays Joyce Byers in Stranger Things-was this time immortalized by London-based artist Harley Weir, new talent in fashion photography thanks to her delicate and sensual touch to subvert the world of contemporary fashion photography.

The campaign is dedicated to the new J Marc bag and features Ryder wearing a pair of Jacobs’ Kiki Boots, lace petticoats, tulle skirts, and Marc Jacobs’ archival dresses that evoke a grunge and dark aesthetic.

A true myth of contemporary cinema, an iconoclast of the ’00s and pop culture who, besides being one of the reasons for the success of one of the most watched TV series ever, enriches and makes unique this new Marc Jacobs campaign that you can see below.
