WOOD WOOD’s Pre-Fall 2022 collection allows us to go back in time to the 1990s in Seattle, when Washington state’s capital city was the center of the world.
The Seattle Supersonics of Shawn Kemp and Gary Payton, coffee culture and the birth of Starbucks, DIY culture but most of all music and related zines. Grunge with Nirvana, Pearl Jam and Alice in Chains gives a not inconsiderable shove to the world with a new genre that will forever change the history of music music, but also fashion and more generally the approach to things of millions of young people around the world.
Starting from this very moment of historical and social rupture, WOOD WOOD built its Pre-Fall 2022 by exploring the world of graphics and techniques of the time, from lithographic printing to collage to thermographic reproduction, paying homage to WOOD WOOD’s streetwear legacy.
The campaign was shot by photographer Jack Symes starring a series of local London heroes who managed to fully capture the collection’s philosophy based on creativity.
