A Guide To Better Being is the name of the latest visual project by Viennese photographer Daniel Gebhart de Koekkoek, consisting of a series of portraits that ironize the famous commercial articles often defined on social “life hacks”.

And that’s how we find umbrellas horn savers, funnels for eye drops, umbrellas hanging first and foremost and even a roll of multipurpose toilet paper. Daniel’s research develops in an aesthetic-sociological direction that sees these consumer objects as the mirror of the dominant capitalist culture, which summarizes time in money. “A Guide To Better Being” was created by Gebhart de Koekkoek in Japan, in collaboration with fashion designer Sina Braetz and fashion producer Julius Salvenmoser.
