Design is a bit like mathematics, not all of them are worn, it’s difficult to understand, but it’s part of every aspect of life and of our everyday life. Just think of the logos of the brands, but also of the appearance of sites, applications, and magazines, not to mention the world of fashion and furniture. Probably not knowing it, you also have a piece of design in your home.

If you want to understand and discover better the intricate and fascinating world of design you can not miss the docs-series of Netflix: “Abstract: The Art of Design” which, after the success of the first season, is ready to return with the second Wednesday, September 25.

The trailer released by Netflix, in addition to unveiling the date, also shows the 6 new creatives and designers protagonists of the new episodes.

The Icelandic-Danish artist Olafur Eliasson who creates impressive immersive installations that draw on the world of architecture and technology; the bio-designer Neri Oxman whose work focuses on digital manufacturing, the study of materials and synthetic biology. Then we move on to the world of cinema with the famous costume designer Ruth E. Carter, winner of an Oscar thanks to the costumes for Black Panther and the universe of children with Cas Holman and her company that produces toys that stimulate the creativity of children. But design is also part of our daily lives, which is why Abstract also tells the story of the work of personalities such as Ian Spalter, product designer for Instagram and typographic designer Jonathan Hoefler, who has created fonts and characters for some of the most famous companies and magazines in the world.

Design is around you, you just have to know how to see it.
