It has been since Ancient Greece’ times that we have been amazed by harmonies, lights and details. Even now, despite the current year of 2020, we have the opportunity to get in touch with a source of balance and positive energy: Paolo Abate.
We discover calm and serenity through his photographs, although his main subjects are abandoned places, ruined villas and missing details. Through a warm palette and soft shades, the young photographer from Naples communicates what still remains in this world: beauty. Whether in architecture, in a shadow, or in nature, Paolo can capture its charm.
Looking at Paolo Abate’s shots, the mind relaxes and breathing becomes lighter. Vintage isn’t only in the reality captured in these photos, but also in the shades the images give back. They represent a break from the overwhelming force of events; it’s a suspension that, at least, in this case, didn’t assume a negative meaning.
Sometimes stopping is a good choice, and this is one of those times.
