Aimé Leon Dore x New Balance

The new collaboration between Aimé Leon Dore and New Balance is a reminder and a tribute to the advertising campaigns of the 1990s that the Boston giant used to make and which has now become a signature of the partnership.

Already in previous works together, the brand founded by Teddy Santis in New York in 2014 and based in Queens, had fathomed the archives of the Massachusetts-based company, personalizing two iconic sneakers like the 990v2 and 997.

This time the choice fell on a less conventional model, a pair of daddy shoes, the New Balance 827 Abzorb. This collabo teaser features a very cool older couple, her with a bag full of flowers and him with a cigar in his hand and under the claim, “Runners aren’t normal“.

The design of the sneaker is characterized by a choice of bright, strong colors, such as the mix of red, blue and green, which give new freshness and new life to the 827.

The release date has not yet been announced, so we just have to wait.
