Ali Al Shehabi is a visual artist born in Bahrain and raised in Dubai, he began to explore the world of photography in the Summer of 2006 and since then, he hasn’t abandoned it anymore. The approach to this artistic language occurred after a serious accident left him handicapped, radically changing his life.

During his recovery, he spent his time surfing the internet and finding a community of inspiring photographers, which motivate him to deepen this passion. Unwilling to invest his money in a digital camera, Ali decides to reuse his mother’s film machine. His life changes again, when in 2016 he moved to Tokyo to study art and later, in 2017, he moved to Dubai to study photography.
