The last time we took a plane seems like a lifetime ago. It’s been so long that the next time we have to board the plane we won’t remember what goes in the hand luggage and what goes in the hold.
With nostalgia we remember the moments of take-off and landing, looking at the clouds from above, we almost miss the sudden turbulence.
We certainly cannot put you on a flight, but we can make you travel with a little imagination and with the help of a very special Instagram profile.
Inflight Feed is a profile created in 2012 by Nik Loukas, a freelance journalist who writes for newspapers such as Onboard Hospitality, South China Morning Post, CNN and Yahoo! Travel and deals with topics related to travel and tourism.
Eight years ago, during one of his many business trips, he came up with the idea of photographing and sharing meals served on aeroplanes. This project, born by chance and for fun, is now linked to a real website where Nik reviews meals eaten in flight, from breakfast to dinner, from low-cost companies to the first classes of luxury airlines.
We have selected only a few shots, but to see them all and to read the reviews follow Inflight Feed on Instagram and visit the site!
