The ironic collaboration between Antihero and Supreme

Andrea Tuzio

If someone had predicted that Supreme, after the acquisition by VF Corporation, would pull the oars in the boat especially with regard to collaborations, he made a mistake.

For this FW20 in fact, the brand created by James Jebbia has just presented the latest collaboration with Antihero, skate brand founded by professional skateboarder Julien Stranger in 1995.

After the first collaboration between the two brands in 2014 and 2016, Supreme and Antihero have mixed their logos in an ironic way, creating a play on words: “ATMOSPHERE URINE”.

The letters that make up the names of the two brands have been cut out and rearranged graphically to overturn the classic concept of co-branding.

Hoodies, beanies, twill jackets, and decks all marked by the play on words and letters of the two logos, while the photo-tees feature the ironic smaller co-branding on the back.

The Antihero x Supreme collaboration will be available from November 27th on the Supreme webshop.
