We cannot deny that we are not attracted to the ugly because it is always in our conversation, and it seems to have become the leitmotiv of this column. We appreciate it because it shows us an unusual side of reality and for this reason we think it is right to celebrate it in all its forms.
Today it is the turn of libri.brutti, an unusual Instagram profile that practices the ugly and glorifies it without shame.

This profile contains a collection of almost 150 books, a messy and chaotic archive of the ugliest Italian publications of the last century, a grotesque catalogue of the national publishing market.
If you think you will find hatred, contempt and disgust, however, you are mistaken. libri.brutti is not a den of judgments without hesitation, but a place where people can meet to exhibit and share their collective lack of grace, harmony and good taste.
