PUMA and KidSuper present their latest collaboration

PUMA and Brooklyn-based artist collective KidSuper renew their collaboration for the second time with a football-inspired, imaginative collection that explores the New York-based collective’s artistic and experimental thinking.

The second PUMA x KidSuper collaboration boasts mix-and-match design elements, experimental prints and challenges the conventional sneakers look.

Velcro closures, decorative zig-zag stitching and embroidered logos are complemented by uneven edges for a deliberately unfinished look. Inspired by the unbridled passion of Colm Dillane, the founder of KidSuper, the campaign images were taken with some of the players from Palmeiras, a Brazilian football club that won the last Copa Libertadores. PUMA athletes from the Brazilian team Willian, Gabriel Veron, Wéverton and Renan are the models for the collection.

Painting and graphic sketches handcrafted by KidSuper come to life on apparel from the collection. Pieces like the hoodie and puffer jacket feature a printed painting. Sketches of a face turn into a camouflage print on the fleece top and pants.

Probably the most important piece in the collection is the bathrobe featuring an all-over red, yellow and white print, co-brand embroidery on the back and piping on the edge of the collar, cuffs and trim. It also features a belt, front pockets and inside pocket. Football inspiration appears in items like the crew neck, decorated with the KidSuper football team logo.
