Dolor y Gloria, Pedro Almodovar’s new film is about to be shot in the next few months. This time the director chose to deal with a very personal but also over-debated subject: old age and in particular creative elderness. Yes, it is a risk, many important directors have treated the argument (Fellini’s 8 1/2 for example), but everyone lives this moment of his life in a very personal way, so it’s easy not to get trivial.

Almodovar, also this time, chose a cast of actors we have often seen in his movies: Antonio Banderas and Penelope Cruz.

The shooting of Dolor y Gloria will begin this summer in June.
