Shown for the first time during the Future Sport Forum, the AMBUSH x Nike Dunk High was to be part of a large collaborative collection dedicated to the 2020 Olympic Games in Tokyo.
After the postponement of the Olympics to 2021, all the collaborations dedicated to the event have been postponed but not the one between the Tokyo based brand and Nike dedicated to Dunk.
Yoon Ahn had declared in May that two more colorways would be released in addition to the “Active Fuchsia” one, and yesterday the Korean-American designer posted on her Instagram profile a photo while wearing a black and white pair to announce the upcoming release.
The AMBUSH x Nike Dunk High “Black/White” features a two-tone leather upper with a long black Swoosh on both sides of the sneaker. On the heel we find a sort of clip that protrudes on the back, the co-branding is on the label on the tongue while the toe-box is in coarse grain perforated leather, in contrast with the smooth leather used for the rest of the shoe. To close the design of the sneaker we find waxed black laces and a completely white sole unit.
According to the caption of the Instagram post published by AMBUSH the sneaker should be released in December.
