A few days ago, A.P.C. launched a unisex capsule collection in collaboration with Tame Impala – the solo musical project of Australian Kevin Parker. This partnership is part of a series of small collaborations by the brand that are reminiscent of those with Lacoste, Kid Cudi, Catherine Deneuve, and more recently, with Katie Holmes. With Interaction #25: Tame Impala, the minimalist language of A.P.C. meets the highly creative (and strongly maximalist) spirit of Kevin Parker. At the center is “the fascination for the analog that inspires the modern,” as stated on the French brand’s website. All of this provides fertile ground for the meeting of these two worlds. The launch campaign, with creative direction by Ibrahem Hasan, follows the same premises and is meticulously detailed in every aspect.

The entire collection is characterized by a well-defined aesthetic: the same immersive musicality offered by Tame Impala. Another theme taken up by the collection is the Seventies-inspired vibes of Australian communes, reflected in pastel colors and alpaca sweaters, along with corduroy pants, crossbody bags, and bucket hats. Some lyrics from the Australian artist’s songs also appear, such as on this t-shirt. One of the most beautiful pieces of the collection – in our opinion – remains the Rocker Unisexe Tame Impala Jumper, with its visibly psychedelic tones.
