When two designers and producers of contemporary furniture buy a house in Paris and furnish it, the result can only be astonishing. This is the case of Stéphane Arriubergé and Massimiliano Iorio, founders and owners of the contemporary furniture company Mustache, and their new apartment in the city of lights.

For two years the couple searched for a home until their friend and designer Matali Crasset told him about an old garage in the Goncourt neighborhood. Et voila! The game is done.

The potential of the place allowed the two designers to organize all the functions of the house in a single open area. All the rooms speak, communicate, overlap. For the furniture they chose geometric shapes, different fabrics and a myriad of different colors, creating a fun, carefree place, a kind of happy retreat.

The only thing missing from the initial structure was a garden. Stéphane Arriubergé and Massimiliano Iorio have created one from the beginning, in the center of the house, visible from all the rooms and communicating with all the spaces.

A real oasis in the center of Paris.
