From June 13 to July 13, 2025, Parco della Martesana transforms into a living art site thanks to the presence of Art Is Young, a Milan-based collective that has long promoted new artistic visions connected to the city and contemporary culture. As part of the rich program of NAMA Summer Arena, the group presents a site-specific installation designed to grow and transform over time, becoming a collective artwork signed by four artists: Mattia Ozzy B, Nicole Colombo, Tera_Drop, and Iacopo Antonucci.

The project, made possible thanks to the support of Municipio 2, is based on a large modular installation built with raw, urban, and recycled materials: metal poles, wooden planks, and fabrics of varying transparency. These elements shape a complex structure composed of solid and empty spaces, openings, paths, walls, and passages. Far from a simple geometric shape, it will be physically and visually traversable, stimulating shifting perceptions and ever-changing perspectives.

Unlike a static exhibition, Art Is Young’s project will be a true four-week-long performance, an artistic organism in constant transformation, progressively shaped by the artists’ interventions. The public will be able to witness every stage of the process, culminating in the unveiling of the final piece only at the end of the event. But that’s not all. The installation follows an open and dynamic approach that actively involves both the artists and the public. Some areas will be specifically designed for direct interaction with visitors – particularly children – who will be encouraged to leave their mark with drawings, objects, and colors, becoming part of the collective creation. Meanwhile, the artists will work live on the piece in a cyclical and performative manner, constantly transforming it before the viewers’ eyes.

The heart of the project is the dialogue between the real city and its artistic representation, expressed through a shared, unconventional language. Each artist will have their own section, independent in materials and method, yet part of a single, unified organism.
