It’s hard to imagine two names more representative of American culture than Levi’s and Nike. Yet every time they cross paths, they manage to reinvent themselves. The new collaboration between the two brands – dropping this July – is the latest proof of how heritage can merge with innovation, giving rise to something authentic and powerful. The campaign features names like Larry June, Paige Bueckers, Keon Coleman, and designer Daniel Buezo – figures who embody the eclectic energy of this collaboration. But let’s dive a little deeper.
The undisputed star of this capsule is the Nike Air Max 95, reimagined through Levi’s denim lens in three new colorways. The White/Ecru pair focuses on natural tones, blending matte white and ecru – perfect with a pair of worn-in 501s. The Black pair is a bold style statement, made from 14-ounce black denim. Lastly, the Denim edition features a patchwork play of light and medium indigo shades on a matte navy sole, echoing workwear aesthetics with a modern twist.

Every detail is designed to express the hybrid identity of this collaboration: Levi’s® Red Tab peeking out beneath the Swoosh, the red logo on the sole, and the “dollar bill” print on the insole. All packed in a special Air Max 95 box in Levi’s® red, topped with the unmistakable batwing logo.

But that’s not all. Completing the collection are two apparel pieces that feel like they’ve come from an archive remixed by modern designers: the Type II Trucker Jacket with embroidered Nike logo on the back and selvedge detailing, and oversized Baggy Jeans designed to highlight the sneakers, with a wide leg and tailored construction in Japanese denim.

The result is a collection that honors the past and projects it into the future. A balance of sport, street, heritage, and style that speaks to a broad audience – from Air Max legacy lovers to those who see denim as a personal manifesto.
