Banksy announced a few hours ago “CUT & RUN” on his Instagram profile, a new exhibition that retraces the last 25 years of the street artist’s career. From June 18th to August 28th, it will be possible to visit this exhibition in Glasgow at the Gallery of Modern Art, where stencils from 1998 to 2023 will be showcased, along with many objects belonging to the legendary street artist. The rules are simple: taking photographs will not be allowed, except for polaroids that can be requested from the staff and will be free of charge. The stencils on display have been kept by Banksy for many years as evidence of a crime. Now, the time has come to exhibit them, and they will remain in Glasgow until August 28th. After many years of unauthorized shows by the artist, we are now presented with the opportunity to see pieces from Banksy’s studio. The inauguration will take place this Sunday, and as for public access, the exhibition will be open from June 18th.
