The Stüssy x Nike Zoom Spiridon Caged 2 should be released this spring, but for now there is no further news.

But we want to take advantage of this next release to offer you a perhaps forgotten gem, a BBC special, “The Look“, dedicated to the brand founded by Shawn Stussy in 1980.
The Look” was a BBC Four program, divided into a series of documentaries dedicated to the business side of fashion, and an episode was dedicated to one of the mainstay brand of streetwear. A real rarity is the in-depth interview with Shawn, ranging from the unexpected popularity of Cap Stüssy to the search for one’s identity through fashion. At the time, the Laguna Beach brand was at the head of the streetwear scene as we conceive it today, elements such as identity and exclusivity brought together around Stüssy all the young culture connected first to surfing and then to skateboarding.
Inside also a small interview with James Jebbia, founder of Supreme but at the time of the recording, manager of the Stüssy shop in New York.
Shot before Shawn left the helm of the company to Frank Sinatra Jr., the video is an exclusive vision of the contrast between the reality of the time and the one, totally different and dominated by social media, that we live today and a window on the aesthetics of Stüssy that will be decisive in the development of the streetwear world and beyond.
Good vision.
