This is not the first time that LEGO has offered a colored brick version of an iconic car: for example, we talked about the full-size reproduction of the Bugatti Chiron or the Volkswagen Camper, or the Porsche and Land Rover Defender models.
Now to add to these little gems comes the timeless Fiat 500. It has become a symbol of Italy in the world, but also a manifesto of a lifestyle and a precise historical period, the 500 is considered a true work of art, so much so that it deserves to be exhibited at the MoMa in New York.
The model in particular that has been reproduced by LEGO is the Fiat 500F. Composed of 960 pieces, the car is 11 centimeters high and 24 centimeters long and perfectly reproduces the original with a luggage rack including a suitcase, detailed interior, and sunroof. Included in the set is a folding easel with a painting depicting the Colosseum.
This model was presented at the Spazio Mrf-Mirafiori in Turin where, in addition to 50 real Fiat 500s, there was also a life-size reproduction of the car built with 189,032 LEGO bricks.
The Fiat 500F is available in the LEGO stores and on the website.
