A boat room is the latest project for the Fuchun New Century Wonderland Resort designed by the China Academy-Design Institute of Landscape and Architecture. It is a resort consisting of five boat-shaped houses built on the bank of the Fuchun River in China.

The idea of building “boat rooms” comes from an ancient local custom. In fact, for hundreds of years, some tribes have lived on the banks of the river using their boats as houses. Half of the structure of the five suites are built between the trees, the other half, instead comes out of the forest to lean on the waters of the lake.

Each of these houseboats ends with a large French window that opens onto a terrace. From here, surrounded by greenery and nature, the view is wonderful.
