The naked bodies of friends, lovers and strangers intersect and intertwine in the shots that Spyros Rennt is ready to present to the Italian public with the exhibition “Body Heat“.Â
The Greek-born photographer lives and works between Athens and Berlin, and it is in Berlin that he took the pictures that from Friday 12th November to Sunday 5th December will be exhibited at Spazio MartÃn, in via Alfredo Catalani, Milan.Â
Spyros Rennt has always used photography to document the queer community and the rave subculture, and also with “Body Heat” he offers us a unique and personal look at the Berlin underground scene. The unfiltered and sometimes raw style that the photographer has decided to use leads to compare his work to a reportage born with the desire to contribute to the public discourse on sexual emancipation.Â
Spyros Rennt represents and immortalizes the LGBTQ+ community, giving visibility to a world still too marginalized, trying to break down walls with the beauty and power of images.
