Brandon Scott Humphrey is an American photographer from Austin who creates a sensitive understanding between the collective and the individual, the group and the single. One only has to look at his portfolio to realize that his work encompasses two different and congruent themes: nightlife photography and dream-introspective photography.

Brandon works for events, music festivals and private parties. He experiences the vortex of parties, the whirlwind of sociality and confusion, but also seems to be able to enjoy the individual calm. His personal analogue projects seem to reflect on the thorny human interiority, they are troubled and tiring tales, sometimes also sensitive and romantic.

Giving this confused and worn meaning to the shots is his photographic style: Brandon Scott Humphrey experiments with colors, saturations, exposures and contrasts. Each of his snapshots is a dreamlike, fantastical journey.
