The Camera Nazionale della Moda has announced the official calendar of the first edition of Milano Digital Fashion Week, which will take place from 14 to 17 July.
The complete program includes the presentation of the SS2021 men’s collection and the Cruise 2021 men’s and women’s collections, the brands present will be 37 including Prada, Gucci, Salvatore Ferragamo, Ermenegildo Zegna, Salvatore Ferragamo, Missoni, etc..
Two physical events also stand out: after more than 20 years Dolce & Gabbana will return to Milan and will do so with a fashion show scheduled for July 15th in the gardens of the University Campus of Humanitas Hospital, a real show that will obviously be broadcast live from the Digital Fashion Week platform; Etro has also announced that on Wednesday, July 15th it will be on show at the Four Season Hotel in Via Gesù for a very small number of selected guests. The show of the Maison founded by Gerolamo Etro will also be broadcast live in streaming on the dedicated platform.
Prada and Gucci have chosen to present their Cruise 2021 collections with exclusively virtual shows, there will be no guests and no audience, which will take place on July 14th at 2 pm and July 17th at 2 pm respectively.
“The program schedule includes a real calendar that will guarantee slots in which each of the participating brands will be assigned the time necessary to express their creativity and the new collections, to be used in complete freedom”, explains a note from Cnmi.
The platform will be active 24 hours a day over the four days, the amplification will be maximum thanks also to The New York Times, streaming-partner of the fashion week.
