Fashion photographs taken by Can Sever are characterized by unusual, freshly cut shots. The artist, who lives and works in Istanbul, specializes in the fashion industry and has collaborated with several magazines in the field such as Vogue Turkey, Vogue Italy, L’Officiel Turkey and, Marie Claire Turkey.

Can’s images have an extra gear that can be codified in two main characteristics concerning his style and the composition of the scene; a recurring aspect, for example, is the one concerning the pose of the subject, which is always captured in awe.

The reflections and the careful study of the light give suggestive atmospheres, able to give a vaguely ethereal mood, sometimes almost evanescent. Everything is enhanced, from candles to a simple field flower.

The search for a trademark is particularly difficult in the field of fashion photography where everything and the opposite of everything has already been transformed into reality.
