Ceci n’est pas un Cannolo is the first film by the Italian actress Tea Falco.
This movie is an experimental hybrid between a documentary and a realistic fairy tale. The director, in fact, decided to narrate her motherland (Sicily) in a strange and innovative way, leaving space to 25 Sicilian people to express their thoughts without imposing them on any limits. We will see a slice of humanity that is perfectly able to describe an extraordinary land in all its aspects. Negative and Positive.
The narration is strengthened by a great photography that helps to transform reality into a surrealistic white stage.
