Charlotte Taylor was born as an architect but devoted herself full time to the world of design and art. Her training, however, is clearly visible in her illustrations and her digital interior designs. These are illustrations of minimal structures, such as stairs, arches or floors, made with pastel colors and with a style that recalls Modernism and Postmodernism.

Charlotte more than being interested in the realization of functional buildings is interested in forms, in architecture but from an aesthetic point of view. In this sense, her illustrations are inspired by the works of architects such as Ricardo Legorreta, Luis Barragán, Ricardo Bofill and John Pawson.

For now, illustration is a way for the London artist to test ideas, explore color and form, and picture ways she can continue to work in 3D.
