In the pulsating center of Seattle, on the ground floor of the Amazon Spheres, Deep Dive has recently opened, the new bar and restaurant run by chef Renee Erickson and projected by Graham Baba Architects. Unlike the structure that houses it and the contemporary trends that tend to take away, focusing on light colors and minimalism, Deep Dive is the triumph of luxury, glitz and dark colors.
Entering and walking through the entrance means taking a step back in time by ninety years and finding yourself in a classic New York speakeasy of prohibitionism.
The dark wood walls, green marble table tops and counters, and the seats covered with luxurious oil-blue velvet blend perfectly with the little warm lighting that is diffused throughout the room. In addition, in a classic Prohibition style, Deep Dive is divided into common areas and small private rooms furnished as libraries or small secret studios.
